EFFIGEAR's gearbox can be adapt on the overall ratio for your very own practice. It’s possible to adapt it with the secondary transmission (from gearbox to rear wheel) in order to lengthen or shorten the range of gears.
The gears ratio is 444% with 9 speed corresponding, for classic transmission, to a double chainring 24/36t and 11/34t cassette.
For Downhill it’s possible de reduce the number of gears and get 360% with 8 speeds, 300% with 7 speeds or 260% with 6 speeds.
On the table to the right are the reports of the gearbox according to three Carbon Drive belt sprocket ratio on the secondary transmission (pulley front / rear pulley).
9 speeds EFFIGEAR's gearbox match to a double chainring 24/36t and 11/34t cassette (which develop a 460% ratio) or a transmission 1x11 speeds.
TRANSMISSION 2X10 SPEEDS
In yellow useful speeds and in red useless, forbidden or duplicate speeds.
That kind of transmission require to manage 2 derailleurs in order to have a good efficiency and keep line-chain.
TRANSMISSION 1X11 SPEEDS
It is also exposed to external conditions. Mud, water, rain, streams, dust decreasing the efficiency. The derailleurs, chain guide and chape may be damaged by the environment (rock, branches…). Because of the low tensioning of the chain will damage your frame if this one is not enough protected.
