[Our customers have talent] To revive the #Radior brand and offer an electric bike with a maximum of "Made in France" components. This is the objective of the ECO MOBILITE DE L'AIN-RADIOR industrial group. "The confinement led us to think about our respective activities and the future" explains Guillaume MATHY, technical manager of the project, "we wanted to manufacture a product ourselves rather than subcontracting and the electric bike imposed itself: the market is buoyant and we have all the skills within our MECABOURG network to make it happen."
In December 2020, when Valeo and EFFIGEAR presented the Smart e-Bike System, which combines an electric motor and an automatic gearbox, the industrialists became interested and tried out the prototype in Maclas, at Effigear's headquarters. They were impressed by the efficiency and ease of use as well as by the 100% French manufacture. It is therefore this transmission that will equip future Radior bikes that will be equipped in parallel with Mavic wheels another French industrial player based in Annecy.

The first Radior prototype was presented at the Bicycle Industry Meetings organised in September by CARA Transport & Mobility Systems and the Cluster Mobilite Active et Durable.
