Its pinions, permanently immersed in an oil bath, benefit from continuous lubrication.

Slightly heavier than a derailleur (~900 g), but positioned at the centre of the frame and integrated into the suspension. The result: better mass distribution on the suspended part, reduced rotational inertia, and a lower centre of gravity that improves the bike’s handling off-road.
